The Private Rental Sector has doubled over the last ten years and is expected to continue its growth to 5.79 million households with 68% of current tenants expecting to still live in rental accommodation in three years, Knight Frank’s latest tenant survey has revealed.
It is expected that the sector will have grown by 24% by 2021.
These figures prove without doubt that it’s the private rental sector that is plugging the shortfall in local housing needs.
As one of the largest private rental sector landlords in the UK we have recognised for some time how the sector is becoming more professional.
Without a doubt it is the PRS that holds the key to the future of housing in the UK and we are very proud to play our part in this.
